MANDATE OF THE CDF
The Constituency Development Fund (CDF) is established to support decentralized development initiatives at constituency level. Its mandate is to promote citizen-led development, infrastructure, and social services that directly benefit local communities
OBJECTIVES OF THE CFD
To promote equitable development across all constituencies
To empower local communities in decision-making
To fund infrastructure, education, health, and economic projects
To improve transparency and accountability in resource allocation
CDF IMPLEMENTATION STRUCTURE
The CDF is implemented through Ward Development Committees (WDCs), Constituency Development Committees (CDCs), and local authorities. Project proposals are submitted by community members and approved through a participatory process.
