To achieve the mandate set out for local Authority, Chikankata Town Council intends to enhance service delivery through increase enforcement of compliance to health standards ,increased provision of Rural Water and sanitation services, improved planning and development control and increased revenue collection with in the district. In addition, the Local Authority intends to increase accessibility to local authority services through construction of satellite Mini-civic centre operationalization of Block Making Factory and a Council Bar and Restaurant.
